We're here!

We made it here after two days of flying and trying to sleep in airports! It was so nice to lay flat on a bed instead of sleeping in a chair. First impressions? I love it here! The people have been so nice, the city we are in is beautiful, and the food is amazing. Our first couple of days we will be adjusting to time and culture and doing orientation to prepare us for the next four weeks. This trip will be stretching but I think we are all excited to learn new skills, a new language, and to see what God does. Please continue your prayers for us as we do some traveling and acclimating in the next few days. Also, feel free to comment! :) We will be reading your comments as a team for some encouragement, so we appreciate them. Can't wait to experience more and share it with you all!

  1. Woo! I'm glad you guys made it there safe and with all your luggage :) I've been checking my RSS feed like crazy- just aching to hear any news from the Middle East team. I'm definitely excited for you all and you're in my prayers!

Reading Deuteronomy, this stuck out to me and I thought of your team: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (31:6)

    :) Hope all is well.
